Mahesh Babu is an Indian film actor, who is best known for his acting in Telugu movies. He debuted as a child artist at the age of four with the movie 'Needa'. Since then, he has received seven Nandi Awards, four Filmfare Awards, three CineMAA Awards and two South Indian International Movie Awards. He also owns a film production company in the name of his father "Krishna Productions Private Ltd" in Hyderabad. In 2015, India's top 100 Forbes list Mahesh secured 36th rank, as per income he is in 13th position and for popularity his rank is 37.

Biography

Mahesh Babu was born on 9 August 1975 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has completed his schooling at St. Bede's school and graduated in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai. He was just above average student. As he spent his early life in Chennai, he is not good at Telugu. After graduating, he met director L. Satyanand in Vishakhapatnam and took training in acting. Being unable to read and write Telugu, he used to memorise the dialogues given by his directors during the dubbing phase of the films.
